Justin Theroux and Brenda Song help Kate Hudson with a wardrobe malfunction at 'Running Point' event

Justin Theroux and Brenda Song to the rescue!

After Kate Hudson had a nearly catastrophic wardrobe malfunction in the middle of a Running Point screening event in New York City last month, both Theroux, 53, and Song, 36, immediately sprung to their costar’s aid.

The singer and actress, 45, wore a side boob-revealing black gown with a plunging neckline to the Feb. 26 event at N.Y.C.’s Paley Center for Media and, when she began to answer a question about three minutes into the post-screening panel discussion, part of the dress appeared to pop out of place.

Visibly startled, Hudson grabbed the front panels of her gown and exclaimed as her dutiful Running Point costar Theroux, who was sitting right next to her, sprung to action, footage from the screening event shows.

The American Psycho actor then waved at the panel audience and smiled cheekily as he leaned over to remedy the mishap by fixing something on the back of Hudson’s dress. Song also jumped in to help, leaving her chair to stand in front of her castmates, her arms spread wide to block the view in the event of any further slippage.

As Song stood guard and Theroux continued his efforts, the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star continued holding her gown and joked with the crowd, “You didn’t expect this!”

Meanwhile, the rest of the Netflix series cast on the Paley Center panel — Jay Ellis, Scott MacArthur and Drew Tarver — sat back and laughed at the malfunction.

After a few more seconds of fiddling with Hudson’s dress, during which he jokingly yelled at the panel to “just keep talking,” Theroux fixed the mishap to cheering from the crowd and the cast discussion continued as intended — until about 35 minutes later.

Toward the end of the panel, Hudson raised her hands to clap and once again, her dress appeared to pop out of place. The actress exclaimed again, alerting Theroux, who once again jumped to action to prevent a fashion disaster — only this time, he stood up for a quicker recovery.

Song, listening to her costar, did not notice the mishap this time, realizing a few seconds later that there was a repeat malfunction, saying, “Oh my…” and motioning to the front of her own dress.

Jack Whitehall teases 'really big night' at the BRITs
Jack Whitehall is planning "a really big night" for his BRITs return. The 36-year-old comedian is set to host the awards show for the fifth time in his career on March 1, and Jack is thrilled that he has another chance to host the annual event. Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, Jack explained: "The last show I did was in 2021, which had a fair few restrictions due to COVID. "So it always felt like, due to circumstances beyond my control, I’d maybe gone out with a little bit of a whimper. "I think the Brits 2025 is going to make up for that and be a really big night. "When I first started out I was just like ‘Jack, don’t mess this up. This is such a big opportunity’. You don’t want to say the wrong thing and insult someone and then get taken off air. Then I got to a point where I was like, ‘It’s probably best now to not outstay my welcome’. And now, here I am, back again." Jack previously admitted that he can't wait to return to the role of host, describing the BRITs as his "favourite night of the year". The stand-up comedy star said: "They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with the BRIT Awards. It is my favourite night of the year." Jack hasn't been available to host the show in recent years due to his jam-packed work schedule. But he's now available and he's thrilled to be hosting the event once again. An insider previously told The Sun newspaper: "Jack is such a brilliant BRITs host and isn’t afraid to take the p*** out of some of the world’s biggest stars. "He has such a hectic diary that he’s been unable to take part for the past few years. But he was available this time and said yes immediately. It is one of his favourite gigs as he can have some real fun with the celebs."

Kings Rolling the Dice on Goaltending - A Risky Deadline Decision
The Los Angeles Kings have recently undergone a self-inflicted fall from grace. Of course, most of their wounds are self-inflicted, but the fumbling at the worst time of year is a stark reminder of a poorly constructed roster if one considers the team 'championship-caliber.' One of the areas that was previously on stable ground has now shown some pulled roots: goaltending.

Halle Berry wants women to throw menopause parties
Halle Berry wants women to celebrate the menopause by throwing a "shiesta" party. The Hollywood actress, 58, has revealed she will officially enter menopause on March 21 - the date which will mark 12 months since her last period - and she is convinced the date needs to be acknowledged like "every other milestone" in life. According to New York Post column PageSix, Halle explained her ideas during an upcoming appearance on 'The Tamsen Show' podcast, saying: "When a woman realizes that she’s in the menopause - you know, 365 days, and you know you’re in it - it is their duty to give that woman a ‘shiesta’ to celebrate her, like we do every other milestone in our life." Halle went on to confess she thought she would be able to "skip" menopause because she has spent so many years prioritising healthy living. She added: "There was a feeling of: ‘Hey, I can do pretty much anything I want to do if I eat right and exercise, and prioritize my health and well-being'. "I thought whatever menopause is - I don’t know much about it - but I’m sure I’m going to skip it, because I’m too healthy! I’m on top of everything." Halle launched her own wellness platform Respin in 2020, but she recently repurposed it to focus on menopause and women’s health issues. The actress has also been campaigning for more research into the menopause and more funding for treatments. She recently told Women's Health magazine: "As women, we've been told that's it's just what happens when you get older - you just have to white-knuckle it, grin and bear it. Well, no, that's just not good enough." Halle recently revealed she was sent into a spin after a doctor misdiagnosed her perimenopause symptoms as herpes and she then spent 72 hours with her partner Van Hunt playing the "blame game" trying to work out how she had contracted the sexually transmitted infection (STI). During an appearance on 'The Drew Barrymore Show', Halle explained: "I tried to go to the bathroom and I couldn’t go. It was so painful when I tried to let a little bit out. I couldn’t go. It took me almost 10 minutes just to empty my bladder because it was so painful. "Substances were down there that I had never seen before. And I thought, ‘What is this?’” After seeing a doctor, she was diagnosed with a "really bad case of herpes", and Halle added: "We spend the next 72 hours doing the blame game, trying to figure out who gave it to me, who gave it to him. And then a couple of hours after that, my doctor called me and said, ‘You do not have herpes'." Halle went on to do some research and discovered her symptoms were linked to perimenopause - which hits prior to menopause.
