Jack Whitehall teases 'really big night' at the BRITs
Jack Whitehall is planning "a really big night" for his BRITs return.
The 36-year-old comedian is set to host the awards show for the fifth time in his career on March 1, and Jack is thrilled that he has another chance to host the annual event.
Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, Jack explained: "The last show I did was in 2021, which had a fair few restrictions due to COVID.
"So it always felt like, due to circumstances beyond my control, I’d maybe gone out with a little bit of a whimper.
"I think the Brits 2025 is going to make up for that and be a really big night.
"When I first started out I was just like ‘Jack, don’t mess this up. This is such a big opportunity’. You don’t want to say the wrong thing and insult someone and then get taken off air. Then I got to a point where I was like, ‘It’s probably best now to not outstay my welcome’. And now, here I am, back again."
Jack previously admitted that he can't wait to return to the role of host, describing the BRITs as his "favourite night of the year".
The stand-up comedy star said: "They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with the BRIT Awards. It is my favourite night of the year."
Jack hasn't been available to host the show in recent years due to his jam-packed work schedule. But he's now available and he's thrilled to be hosting the event once again.
An insider previously told The Sun newspaper: "Jack is such a brilliant BRITs host and isn’t afraid to take the p*** out of some of the world’s biggest stars.
"He has such a hectic diary that he’s been unable to take part for the past few years. But he was available this time and said yes immediately. It is one of his favourite gigs as he can have some real fun with the celebs."

But there’s also Boy George and loads of other chart-topping stars, which will be enough to encourage people to tune in." The reality show will air on Apple TV and will also feature the likes of Megan Thee Stallion and Psy, the 'Gangnam Style' singer. Meanwhile, Melanie recently revealed that she's ready to "start planning" a Spice Girls reunion. The 51-year-old singer would love to reunite with her bandmates to mark the 30th anniversary of 'Wannabe', the group's 1996 hit single. Melanie told Rebecca Judd On Apple Music 1: "There has to be something befitting of 30 years since ‘Wannabe’. "Once a Spice Girl, always a Spice Girl. We all feel like that, but we now are getting together because we know if we're going to do anything, we have to start planning things to get things right. "We have to start making the plans right now and putting them into action. So fingers crossed."

It’s just part of his personality." Meanwhile, Travis recently admitted to feeling inspired by Taylor during her Eras Tour. The Kansas City Chiefs star admitted to taking inspiration from Taylor, 35, and her record-breaking tour. Speaking ahead of the Super Bowl, Travis explained: "What I saw on that tour last year was pretty remarkable. "To see the week-in, week-out travelling from one country to the next and how excruciating it is on her body and on her mind - and it’s not just her. It was her entire tour. It was an absolute machine and it was something I could admire watching." Travis also revealed that he was focusing on his diet ahead of the Super Bowl. He said: "I’ve been eating clean. I haven’t been drinking as much, a little lower on the pounds this week."

Justin Baldoni's attorney insisted they may not be open to a settlement with Blake Lively. The actress, 36, and 49-year-old filmmaker have been embroiled in a bitter labyrinthine legal dispute for months after she accused him of harassment while they made domestic abuse movie ‘It Ends With Us’. Appearing on Matthew Belloni's podcast 'The Town', Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman was asked "what it would require for this to go away", as he referred to the "potential for the circus and the damage to both sides". But Freedman argued: "You keep referring to it as a circus and I get it. You see a lot of cases. "You see a lot of things, but the reality is this is not a circus when you go through an experience like this. "I’ve represented a lot of people in the worst moments of their career, the worst moments of their life. Justin has been destroyed by this." Freedman suggested "the only way" to really attempt to prove his client's innocence could be in court. He continued: "In this day and age, the only way that you can truly get back is to prove your innocence and that’s what we’re actively working to [do]. "That may only be able to be done in a courtroom." Justin, 41, completed filming on 'It Ends With Us' in early 2024 and started a press tour in August, and after fans noted Blake did not participate in interviews with him or attend the film’s premiere. Blake then filed a sexual harassment complaint against Justin – alleging that he and his agents conducted a smear campaign against her. Her lawsuit against him is set to go to trial in March 2026, following her initial filing in New York Federal Court. Blake - who played Justin's on-screen love interest in the movie - previously told the New York Times newspaper: "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted." Justin - who also directed the 2024 romantic drama film - has denied the allegations, with his lawyer describing the claims as "categorically false". Bryan, who is acting as a lawyer for the actor and his Wayfarer Studios production company, told Variety: "These claims are completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media."
