From sitting and sobbing to contemplating his own mortality, Benny Blanco’s showers have it all.

The Grammy-nominated producer, 36, pulled back the (shower) curtain his unconventional bathing rituals while answering couple questions with fiancée Selena Gomez in a TikTok filmed behind the scenes of their cover shoot Interview magazine's March issue.

When asked who of the pair — who have been dating since 2023 — takes the longest showers, Gomez, 32, immediately pointed to the producer, who not only accepted her answer, but explained why he spends so much time under the hot water.

“OK, I might not get to shower every day, but when I do, when I feel like I deserve it, I’m in there for so long contemplating life,” Blanco explained. “I sit down in every shower I go into.”

But he doesn’t just relax and ponder during his self-care time — he also uses it as an emotional release of sorts.

“Have you ever cried in the shower? It’s incredible,” Blanco told Interview before turning to his singer fiancée.

“Do you cry in the shower?” the producer asked Gomez, who responded with a hearty laugh. “Sometimes you just have to have a good cry,” he added.

And that’s not all — Blanco also revealed that another staple of his shower time is a phenomenon he has dubbed “death realizations.”

“I always get death realizations when I’m in the shower,” he said in the BTS TikTok as Gomez, seemingly shocked by the revelation, said, “Whoa.”

“No, like, I realize I’m gonna die, but it’s in the shower,” he explained as Gomez, in response, raised the question cards to cover her face. “And then I cry about it a little bit, and then it goes away, and then I feel great because I’m … the warm water."

And, cutting himself off of shower talk, he concluded, "OK, next question.”

Blanco’s shower discussion with Interview Magazine comes months after he first opened up about his bathing habits in PEOPLE’s 2024 Sexiest Man Alive issue.

Sharing his own philosophies about self-care, the producer told PEOPLE in the November issue, “Don't stink. Do all the stuff.”

Blanco also told PEOPLE that he does not “believe in always shampooing" (or conditioning) his hair. “I'm really clean, but I don't shower every day,” he said at the time. “Some people I know shower two to three times a day, but I feel like the oils on your skin don't have time to rejuvenate and get juicy.”

As for his preferred scent — post-shower or otherwise — the producer said he likes “to use a hodgepodge.”

“I want to smell [like] tobacco, but also like cotton candy. I want there to be an aroma as I'm walking by,” he explained. “I want it to smell a little bit like man, a little bit feminine — I definitely lean a little more feminine in every sense.”

Jack Whitehall teases 'really big night' at the BRITs
Jack Whitehall is planning "a really big night" for his BRITs return. The 36-year-old comedian is set to host the awards show for the fifth time in his career on March 1, and Jack is thrilled that he has another chance to host the annual event. Speaking to The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column, Jack explained: "The last show I did was in 2021, which had a fair few restrictions due to COVID. "So it always felt like, due to circumstances beyond my control, I’d maybe gone out with a little bit of a whimper. "I think the Brits 2025 is going to make up for that and be a really big night. "When I first started out I was just like ‘Jack, don’t mess this up. This is such a big opportunity’. You don’t want to say the wrong thing and insult someone and then get taken off air. Then I got to a point where I was like, ‘It’s probably best now to not outstay my welcome’. And now, here I am, back again." Jack previously admitted that he can't wait to return to the role of host, describing the BRITs as his "favourite night of the year". The stand-up comedy star said: "They say that absence makes the heart grow fonder, and that is absolutely the case with the BRIT Awards. It is my favourite night of the year." Jack hasn't been available to host the show in recent years due to his jam-packed work schedule. But he's now available and he's thrilled to be hosting the event once again. An insider previously told The Sun newspaper: "Jack is such a brilliant BRITs host and isn’t afraid to take the p*** out of some of the world’s biggest stars. "He has such a hectic diary that he’s been unable to take part for the past few years. But he was available this time and said yes immediately. It is one of his favourite gigs as he can have some real fun with the celebs."

Travis Kelce has grown up, says Jason Kelce
Travis Kelce is "changing" because of new people in his life. The 35-sports star has been dating singer Taylor Swift since 2023, and Jason Kelce, Travis' older brother, has been staggered by his sibling's personal evolution. Speaking about his brother's growth, Jason said on the 'Fitz and Whit' podcast: "It’s been staggering, honestly." The 37-year-old star recalled Travis having a Peter Pan-like quality during his younger years. Jason said: "One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up. He was like Peter Pan, the lost boys." Jason acknowledged that the new people in Travis' life have had a healthy influence on him in recent times. The former NFL star said: "I think that sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you. That’s a good thing." Despite this, Travis has retained a playful side to his personality. Jason explained: "Trav, he is growing up. He’s still got that youthful enthusiasm. I think he’ll kind of always have that. It’s just part of his personality." Meanwhile, Travis recently admitted to feeling inspired by Taylor during her Eras Tour. The Kansas City Chiefs star admitted to taking inspiration from Taylor, 35, and her record-breaking tour. Speaking ahead of the Super Bowl, Travis explained: "What I saw on that tour last year was pretty remarkable. "To see the week-in, week-out travelling from one country to the next and how excruciating it is on her body and on her mind - and it’s not just her. It was her entire tour. It was an absolute machine and it was something I could admire watching." Travis also revealed that he was focusing on his diet ahead of the Super Bowl. He said: "I’ve been eating clean. I haven’t been drinking as much, a little lower on the pounds this week."

These are the Canadian sectors most vulnerable to Trump tariffs, according to Desjardins
A new Desjardins report says there are five sectors of the Canadian economy that are most vulnerable to incoming U.S. President Donald Trump's proposed tariffs, with exemptions expected for the energy and automotive sectors. "With Trump set to take office on Jan. 20, Canadian companies are rightly highly concerned. Some should be more worried than others," Desjardins principal economist Florence Jean-Jacobs wrote in a report released on Friday.
