Chiefs, Royals, And Tigers Clinch 2025 WHL Playoff Berth

It's Clinchmas!
Monday afternoon, three WHL clubs punched their ticket to the 2025 WHL post-season.
Spokane Chiefs/Victoria Royals
In the Western conference, Spokane did most of the heavy lifting. Down 2-0 to the Kamloops Blazers, the Chiefs pulled off a three-goal second period and added an empty net goal courtesy of Andrew Cristall (his second of the game) to take a 4-2 decision and book themselves into the dance.
Victoria, despite dropping their game to the Everett Silvertips, got an assist from Spokane in that a Chiefs win also meant a playoff berth for the Royals.
Medicine Hat Tigers
Former Saskatoon Blades forward Misha Volotovskii lead the way for Medicine Hat, scoring the first two goals of the game against the Lethbridge Hurricanes en route to a dominant 5-1 win. Gavin McKenna also added two points, putting him up to 99 on the season and extending his streak to 32 games.
