Sutton Stracke is used to sharing her life in the spotlight, but her three children have mainly stayed away from the public eye.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is a mom to her daughter, Porter, 22, and sons, Philip, 21, and James, 18, whom she shares with her ex-husband Christian Stracke. The two married in 2000, before splitting 16 years later.

While James hasn't appeared on the show, Sutton's two older children have been featured, with the proud mom sharing updates on their lives. However, it took some time for the housewife to be able to showcase her kids at all, as Christian didn't allow it at first.

“It was a hard blow because, you know, it's exciting to do,” she shared on the Real Life with Kasey Casey podcast in May 2020, sharing that Christian was “adamant that they could not film with me.”

However, after Sutton's first season, Porter and Philip were briefly featured on the show, with Porter making more regular appearances in the years since.

Here's everything to know about Sutton Stracke’s children, Porter, Philip, and James.

Sutton and Christian welcomed Porter on May 4, 2002.

In May 2024, Porter graduated from William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Va., where she majored in both French and history, per her LinkedIn.

“Congratulations to the William and Mary Class of 2024! “Hark Upon the Gale” 😽💗🙌🏻 Next we celebrate our History Graduate! #proudmommy," Sutton wrote on Instagram alongside a video compilation from Porter's graduation weekend.

While she was in college, Porter held a number of marketing internship positions before committing to law school in 2024, which her mother revealed to friend Jennifer Tilly during a season 14 episode of RHOBH.

"You raised 'em right," Tilly responded to the news. "I don't think your kids are going to be partying it up, stealing your credit cards, buying drugs. They're like kids from the 1950s."

In September of that year, Porter started at the Brooklyn Law School, where she is set to graduate in 2027.

Though Porter is at school across the country, she has still occasionally appeared on her mom's show.

“She’s kind of soft-spoken and she can be a little shy as well. But she loved doing it,” Sutton told Page Six in 2021. “So it wasn’t like, ‘I don’t want to be here.’ She was pretty forthcoming and wanted to do whatever we could do.”

Nearly two years after welcoming their daughter, Sutton and Christian's second child, Philip, was born on Dec. 31, 2003. While Sutton's elder son has only made a brief appearance on RHOBH, she has been vocal about sharing her pride in Philip, who is a student at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina.

Before Philip started school, Sutton spoke about her son's career ambitions during a 2022 episode of RHOBH, sharing that Philip initially told Sutton he wanted to join the army because he'd grown up "too comfortable."

"You know, he lives a nice life," she shared. "I said, 'Oh, well I'll make you uncomfortable then.' I sent him to Georgia when it was gonna be 105 degrees with 100 percent humidity. I made him get a job. He had to be there at 5:30 in the morning to deliver vending machine cokes and stuff."

She continued, "A month later, when I picked him up, he wanted to go to college."

Since he decided to go to military school, Sutton noted that she and Philip "both win."

Two years later, Sutton shared an Instagram carousel of herself visiting Philip at school, including a photo of her posing with him in his uniform.

“Take the girl outta the South but she gets a Cadet and still has great friends 😽💙💙💙," she wrote in the caption.

Apart from his military pursuits, Philip also enjoys traveling with his mother. In a March 2024 post, Sutton shared a photo of the pair globetrotting in Europe. “Months later I get to see this handsome man to steal away from London and head to Ireland!! Took me to his favorite breakfast spot in Marylebone. #motherson trip!!😽💗💗," she captioned the post.

Sutton's youngest child, James, was born on Jan. 24, 2007.

In season 13 of RHOBH, Sutton shared that after Christian got a promotion that would have him living in London full time, he wanted to take James with him, which startled Sutton.

“I was thinking, ‘Can he just take James?’ ” she shared in a candid conversation with her costar, Kyle Richards. "I didn’t know if maybe James wanted to go with him.”

In the end, Sutton and her ex-husband decided to let James stay with his mom full-time in Beverly Hills, where he is now finishing high school.

In a season 14 episode of RHOBH, Sutton took Kyle and fellow costar Garcelle Beauvais to visit her mom, Reba, in Georgia. While there, Garcelle told Reba she loves her grandchildren, to which Reba replied, "They are smart. James is kind of weird, but smart."

During the subsequent episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills After Show, Sutton shared that she brought up the comment to James and Reba at Thanksgiving, at which time Reba doubled down on her stance.

"She goes, 'Well James, you are weird,' " Sutton said. "So, you know, she's gonna stand by what she says. James is his own person."

She continued, "He doesn't care what anybody thinks, he's gonna do what he's gonna do, and maybe she thinks that's weird, but she does the same thing."

Outside of her work, Sutton enjoys traveling and dining with her youngest child. In February 2024, she shared a photo of her with James and his friends on the sandy beaches of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

Months later, in November 2024, the mom of three posted a photo of the two having dinner together at Le Bilboquet, a French restaurant in New York City, writing, “Just me and James sharing our day. As best we can. Moules frites and mousse au chocolat in the city. It’s a favorite!😽💗.”

Justin Baldoni's attorney addresses potential settlement with Blake Lively
Justin Baldoni's attorney insisted they may not be open to a settlement with Blake Lively. The actress, 36, and 49-year-old filmmaker have been embroiled in a bitter labyrinthine legal dispute for months after she accused him of harassment while they made domestic abuse movie ‘It Ends With Us’. Appearing on Matthew Belloni's podcast 'The Town', Baldoni's lawyer Bryan Freedman was asked "what it would require for this to go away", as he referred to the "potential for the circus and the damage to both sides". But Freedman argued: "You keep referring to it as a circus and I get it. You see a lot of cases. "You see a lot of things, but the reality is this is not a circus when you go through an experience like this. "I’ve represented a lot of people in the worst moments of their career, the worst moments of their life. Justin has been destroyed by this." Freedman suggested "the only way" to really attempt to prove his client's innocence could be in court. He continued: "In this day and age, the only way that you can truly get back is to prove your innocence and that’s what we’re actively working to [do]. "That may only be able to be done in a courtroom." Justin, 41, completed filming on 'It Ends With Us' in early 2024 and started a press tour in August, and after fans noted Blake did not participate in interviews with him or attend the film’s premiere. Blake then filed a sexual harassment complaint against Justin – alleging that he and his agents conducted a smear campaign against her. Her lawsuit against him is set to go to trial in March 2026, following her initial filing in New York Federal Court. Blake - who played Justin's on-screen love interest in the movie - previously told the New York Times newspaper: "I hope that my legal action helps pull back the curtain on these sinister retaliatory tactics to harm people who speak up about misconduct and helps protect others who may be targeted." Justin - who also directed the 2024 romantic drama film - has denied the allegations, with his lawyer describing the claims as "categorically false". Bryan, who is acting as a lawyer for the actor and his Wayfarer Studios production company, told Variety: "These claims are completely false, outrageous and intentionally salacious with an intent to publicly hurt and rehash a narrative in the media."

9 winners and losers from NFL free agency 2025: The Steelers are going all-in on mediocrity
The opening salvos of this year's NFL free agency period are officially behind us. Which, is actually kind of funny since free agency doesn't (officially) start until Tuesday afternoon. Though, honestly, I can't blame NFL teams for not waiting until the last minute. Early birds get the worm, you snooze and you lose ... oh, you get it.

Tori Spelling doesn't drink water
Tori Spelling doesn't drink water. The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star, 51, has confessed she has an "aversion" to the drink and does everything she can to avoid it - revealing she opts for coconut water or soda instead and joking she's like a "cacti". During an appearance on her 'MisSPELLING' podcast, she explained: "I don't drink water. And when I say I don't drink water, I don't drink water. "How I'm still living, no one knows. I'm like a cacti. Just water me once in a while, and I somehow survive. But I have an aversion to it." She added: "I'm trying this new thing since I don't like water. I'm like, okay, I actually enjoy the taste of coconut water. "I can guzzle, like, a glass of wine in, like, two seconds. No problem. But I take a few sips of water and swallow gently, and all of a sudden, I'm like, 'I wanna puke.' " Tori - who is mom to five children with her ex Dean McDermott - went on to admit she did try drinking water during her pregnancies but it was tough. She said: "[I tried] because you have to hydrate the baby growing in you. But in my mind, I was like: 'I'm drinking for them, not myself'." The TV star also confessed she struggles with an "irrational" fear of being poisoned whenever someone hands her a drink -which baffled her ex Dean - and she joked it stems from her late father Aaron Spelling's dramatic TV shows. She explained: "I’m Aaron Spelling's daughter, hello. The creator of drama-rama storytelling ... "[Dean said] 'You're the mother of my children. Why would I want to poison you?’ And I was like: ‘Listen. It's not personal. I think this about everybody.’ " However, Tori is convinced the fear does stem from her childhood when her mom Candy would attempt to get her to take medicine by hiding it in a drink. She said: "I would say: ‘What'd you put in here? Like, what are you giving me?’ And she would say the same thing: ‘What, you think I'm trying to poison you?’ ” "This goes back to childhood. This crazy, irrational fear of handed over liquids from other people. I don't drink water. I don't call it a fear of water. I just like to say I hate water. I have an allergy to water."
