Three Playoff Clinching Situations Highlight Family Day Action

The 2024-25 WHL season is heating up, and fast. One playoff seed has been claimed (courtesy of the Everett Silvertips) and on Monday's Family Day, three more are eligible to punch their ticket- with a few stipulations.
Victoria Royals
The Royals have been hot of late, collecting 13 of their last 14 available points and shooting to second place in the Western conference. In a matchup against the mighty Silvertips on Monday, their clinching scenario is as follows:
Any win against Everett, or
An OT/SO loss against Everett and a Kamloops OT/SO loss against Spokane, or
A Kamloops regulation loss against Spokane
Spokane Chiefs
Spokane's path is less complicated than Victoria's, and they possess a 7-1-1-1 record in their last 10 games. The Chiefs can book their spot with:
At least one point against the Kamloops Blazers
Medicine Hat Tigers
Eligible to claim the first playoff spot in the East, Medicine Hat has more than returned to form after a slow start to the season. While complicated, the Tigers have a few avenues to pick from:
At least one point against the Lethbridge Hurricanes, or
Any Red Deer loss to Edmonton
