Jack Roslovic Records 100th Career Goal, 20th Of Season In Win Over Lightning

Carolina Hurricanes forward Jack Roslovic finally picked up his 100th career goal after a few months of waiting in the Canes 4-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning Tuesday night at Lenovo Center.
The Ohio-native had reached the 98-goal mark on Dec. 31, 2024, but it wasn't until tonight — 28 games later — that he finally managed to get the 100th.
"It took a while," Roslovic joked. "I mean, as long as the opportunities come — and I feel like they've been coming — you don't get too upset. You just try to keep on shooting."
Roslovic, 28, finished off a great pass from Taylor Hall on a 2-on-1 late in the second period to push his team's lead to three goals.
"Unreal," Roslovic said on the play Hall made. "I slowed down just a little bit and he made a great pass. A great play."
Not only was it the 100th goal of Roslovic's career, but it was also his 20th of the season, two shy of his career-best.
The nine-year veteran is the third Canes skater to hit the milestone this year (Seth Jarvis - 26; Sebastian Aho - 24).
Roslovic is also the first Hurricanes free agent signee to score 20 goals the season he signed since Cory Stillman and Matt Cullen in 2005-06 (Shoutout Canes Stats).
