Israel consulted US on its strikes in Gaza, White House told Fox News

White House Press Secretary Leavitt speaks to members of the media at the White House

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The administration of President Donald Trump was consulted on Monday by Israel on its deadly strikes in Gaza, a White House spokesperson told Fox News' "Hannity" show.

"The Trump administration and the White House were consulted by the Israelis on their attacks in Gaza tonight," White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a Fox News interview.

Palestinian medics in Gaza reported dozens of people were killed in the aftermath of a series of the most violent air attacks by Israel on the Palestinian enclave since a ceasefire was reached on January 19 between Israel and Hamas militants.

A senior Hamas official said Israel had unilaterally overturned the ceasefire agreement.

"As President Trump has made it clear - Hamas, the Houthis, Iran, all those who seek to terrorize not just Israel, but also the United States of America, will see a price to pay. All hell will break loose," the White House spokesperson said.

Trump had previously publicly issued a warning using similar words, saying Hamas should release all hostages in Gaza or "let hell break out."

The latest bloodshed in the decades-old Israeli-Palestinian conflict was triggered on Oct. 7, 2023, when Palestinian Hamas militants attacked Israel, killing 1,200 and taking about 250 hostages, according to Israeli allies.

Israel's subsequent military assault on Gaza has killed over 48,000 Palestinians, according to the local health ministry, while also triggering accusations of genocide and war crimes that Israel denies. The assault has internally displaced nearly Gaza's entire 2.3 million population and caused a hunger crisis.

Trump has also been condemned over his plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza and for the U.S. to take over the enclave. Rights groups, the U.N., Palestinians and Arab states have said Trump's proposal, which he has put across as a re-development plan, would amount to ethnic cleansing.

Washington separately launched a new wave of airstrikes on Saturday in Yemen in which it said dozens of members of the Houthi movement were left dead. The Houthis said at least 53 people were killed. Reuters could not independently verify those casualty numbers.

The Houthis had launched more than 100 attacks targeting shipping from November 2023, saying they were acting in solidarity with Palestinians over Israel's war in Gaza.

Tori Spelling doesn't drink water
Tori Spelling doesn't drink water. The former 'Beverly Hills 90210' star, 51, has confessed she has an "aversion" to the drink and does everything she can to avoid it - revealing she opts for coconut water or soda instead and joking she's like a "cacti". During an appearance on her 'MisSPELLING' podcast, she explained: "I don't drink water. And when I say I don't drink water, I don't drink water. "How I'm still living, no one knows. I'm like a cacti. Just water me once in a while, and I somehow survive. But I have an aversion to it." She added: "I'm trying this new thing since I don't like water. I'm like, okay, I actually enjoy the taste of coconut water. "I can guzzle, like, a glass of wine in, like, two seconds. No problem. But I take a few sips of water and swallow gently, and all of a sudden, I'm like, 'I wanna puke.' " Tori - who is mom to five children with her ex Dean McDermott - went on to admit she did try drinking water during her pregnancies but it was tough. She said: "[I tried] because you have to hydrate the baby growing in you. But in my mind, I was like: 'I'm drinking for them, not myself'." The TV star also confessed she struggles with an "irrational" fear of being poisoned whenever someone hands her a drink -which baffled her ex Dean - and she joked it stems from her late father Aaron Spelling's dramatic TV shows. She explained: "I’m Aaron Spelling's daughter, hello. The creator of drama-rama storytelling ... "[Dean said] 'You're the mother of my children. Why would I want to poison you?’ And I was like: ‘Listen. It's not personal. I think this about everybody.’ " However, Tori is convinced the fear does stem from her childhood when her mom Candy would attempt to get her to take medicine by hiding it in a drink. She said: "I would say: ‘What'd you put in here? Like, what are you giving me?’ And she would say the same thing: ‘What, you think I'm trying to poison you?’ ” "This goes back to childhood. This crazy, irrational fear of handed over liquids from other people. I don't drink water. I don't call it a fear of water. I just like to say I hate water. I have an allergy to water."

Charlie Sheen's daughter Sami 'bullied' for looking like her dad
Charlie Sheen's daughter Sami Sheen was bullied for looking like her famous father. Sami, 20, has admitted the cruel taunts about her appearance from her school mates convinced her she needed to get a nose job and she's also had to deal with comparisons to her actress mother Denise Richards. Speaking to her mom in an episode of family reality show 'Denise Richards and Her Wild Things', Sami explained: "I had to deal with kids bullying me. "People would say I looked like my dad. I actually got a comment the other day of someone saying, ‘You’ll never be as pretty as your mom'." The episode showed Denise driving her daughter to a consultation with a doctor about her planned rhinoplasty prior to the surgery in August and Sami told her mother she had wanted the operation "for as long as [I] can remember", adding: "I have this freaking honker stuck to my face". Sami also pointed to her mom's face as the example of a "perfect" nose as she explained her hope for the surgery to the doctor. Later in the episode, Denise - who is mom to Sami as well as 19-year-old Lola with her ex-husband Charlie- became tearful as she talked about her daughter's desire to go under the knife. She said: "For my daughter to want to get her nose done, it made me so sad. I feel bad that she has to live up to my nose, or whatever, because I don’t want [my daughters] to feel they have to look a certain way ... "There were times I wanted to move the kids out of LA, and I couldn’t because of where I worked. And they had two parents in this business. I feel bad." However, in a confessional, Sami wondered if she would even be considering cosmetic surgery if she wasn't living the celebrity lifestyle in Los Angeles. She said: "I'm really trying to think if we lived in, like, Alabama and I worked a normal job and I wasn't on social media. I probably would still want a nose job."

Travis Kelce has grown up, says Jason Kelce
Travis Kelce is "changing" because of new people in his life. The 35-sports star has been dating singer Taylor Swift since 2023, and Jason Kelce, Travis' older brother, has been staggered by his sibling's personal evolution. Speaking about his brother's growth, Jason said on the 'Fitz and Whit' podcast: "It’s been staggering, honestly." The 37-year-old star recalled Travis having a Peter Pan-like quality during his younger years. Jason said: "One of the things I love so much about Travis is that he never grew up. He was like Peter Pan, the lost boys." Jason acknowledged that the new people in Travis' life have had a healthy influence on him in recent times. The former NFL star said: "I think that sometimes you get people in your life that maybe get that out of you. That’s a good thing." Despite this, Travis has retained a playful side to his personality. Jason explained: "Trav, he is growing up. He’s still got that youthful enthusiasm. I think he’ll kind of always have that. It’s just part of his personality." Meanwhile, Travis recently admitted to feeling inspired by Taylor during her Eras Tour. The Kansas City Chiefs star admitted to taking inspiration from Taylor, 35, and her record-breaking tour. Speaking ahead of the Super Bowl, Travis explained: "What I saw on that tour last year was pretty remarkable. "To see the week-in, week-out travelling from one country to the next and how excruciating it is on her body and on her mind - and it’s not just her. It was her entire tour. It was an absolute machine and it was something I could admire watching." Travis also revealed that he was focusing on his diet ahead of the Super Bowl. He said: "I’ve been eating clean. I haven’t been drinking as much, a little lower on the pounds this week."
