GOTTA SEE IT: Line Brawl Breaks Out Between Capitals & Kraken, 10 Players End Up In Penalty Box

WASHINGTON — Things were relatively quiet beetween the Washington Capitals and Seattle Kraken through the first two periods of play on Sunday afternoon. Then, tensions boiled over and things got heated — fast.
Tom Wilson was piling on the physicality, and after going for a hit on Josh Mahura, the whistle blew, and all hell broke loose as everyone got into a brawl on the ice.
Brandon Duhaime went with Tye Kartye, throwing the Kraken forward to the ice and continuing to throw punches. Brandon Montour dropped the gloves and went after John Carlson, while Wilson and Mahura continued to go at it. Pierre-Luc Dubois and Trevor van Riemsdyk then went with Mikey Eyssimont and John Hayden, respectively.
All the while, Charlie Lindgren and Joey Daccord kept to themselves, but did peek out at the action as it unfolded.
Penalties were dulled out, with all 10 players ending up in the box for matching roughing penalties. Duhaime got an extra roughing minor and a 10-minute misconduct, giving the Kraken the power play.
